Matthew M. Soddy - Owner Operator, President of Corporation
A Springfield Illinois native, Matt moved to Greenville, NC in Spring of 1992 at age 20 to begin working alongside his father Michael L. Soddy the founder of SASCORP, Inc. He entered into the company just out of high school as a laborer in the field running his own crew. He became Secretary of the Corporation in 1993. By 2004 Matt began to oversee day to day operations as his father started to settle into retirement. In 2006 Matt accepted the position of President of the Corporation. As company President Matt oversees all functions within the company. His 20 years of experience have enabled the company to grow in many directions.
Natasha A. Soddy - Secretary of Corporation
A Gibsonville, NC native, who moved to Greenville, NC in the summer of 1992 after marrying Matt. Natasha joined the family owned business in winter of 2001 as Office Manager. Bringing 10 years of human resource/bookkeeping experience. She is responsible for ensuring smooth operation within the organization while upholding the company’s mission and vision and adhering to its set standards.
Dave Congdon - Superintendent
A Pawpaw, MI native, he moved to Greenville in 1994. Attended Junior College in New Hampshire to receive a certificate in management. Began employment with SASCORP, Inc. in July 2005 as a Superintendent. In charge of mutiple projects, he is able to coordinate and manage all activities on the construction site. Dave brings construction knowledge, leadership, communication & safety skills. He maintains a good relationship with the crews.
Sarah Crandall - Office Assistant
A West Virginia, native and a NC resident for 24 years. Sarah has been with SASCORP, INC. since December 2010. Pitt Community College Alumni graduating in 2001 with an Associates’ Degree in Business Administration. Currently enrolled at Baker College Online to obtain my Bachelors in Business Administration in spring 2013 and then will proceed on to obtain her MBA with a concentration in Information Systems. Let’s go Pirates.
Sarah is responsible for the accounting functions: payroll, payables & receivables.
David Griffith - Estimator
A Wilmington, NC native, moved to Greenville, NC in fall of 2007 to begin his freshman year at East Carolina University. He graduated from East Carolina University with a Construction Management major and a minor in Business Administration. While in college, he worked in various construction facets to gain a wide variety of knowledge of my chosen field of study. During his college career he held an officer position for the nationally recognized non-profit organization of Ducks Unlimited Pirate Chapter. David will be functioning as an estimator and project manager for SASCORP, Inc.
David is involved with nearly every estimate that is generated by the company. He brings with him exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills along with a work ethic that is crucial in the construction industry.
